    Description

    An outstanding antique representation of a Brussels Griffon dog in the form of a calling card tray, made from terracotta, and most likely produced in France or England. The tray is slightly cupped to hold objects, with the dog head done in relief with wonderful detail and personality. Hand painted accents on the eyes and collar. It measures 4 7/8" tall by 4 1/2" wide by about 3/4" thick. Unmarked. A superb piece for the collector looking for the unique and unusual!
