Replaces the following Whitfield Part Numbers:
16050001 -
12145903 - 38148 - 13025903 - 13640014 - 13025903. Fits the Lennox Profile series, Optima series, and Traditions.
This is a safety sensor that will measure the air pressure inside of the combustion chamber. It is valid for all models regardless of the year of manufacture or model.
A diaphragm located inside the pressure switch opens the normally closed switch if the pressure increase above the designated range; the switch opens and interrupt the power to the feed motor.
Here are a few common reasons for missing negative air pressure:
The exhaust fan fails.
The exhaust pipe or vent becomes is clogged.
A stove door is not completely closed. (check the ash drawer door too...)
The vacuum/pressure hose
gets brittle and cracked from aging.
