cruiser
axe is one hard item to find if you a serious Marbles collector.  Stamp is still visible but its also stamped CSC which most likey was a hardware company. Its stamped on both the face and top of the bit. A very rare peice of history and I've never seen one like it  There far and few and when you do find them there beat to hell. This dbl # 15 is as nice as they come. The 2 lb head has been cleaned up a bit.
The cutting edge is 3 3/4" wide and from edge to edge tall is 8 3/4".  length from top of head to end of the really nice crack free handle is
27"
. The sheaths for the double bit axes were an option back in the day and from what I have seen most  were bought with out sheath. Back then nobody gave a crap about protecting there axe they used them and threw them in the tool shed. When they got dull most knuckel heads put them to the bench grinder in the garage and really screwed them up good.
Nice old hard to find # 15 and its priced to sell. I have sold mint # 15 Dbl's for 1250 and as low as 500 for a beater. This is a super nice one and I have had it for about 10 years.
