Up for Auction...
Bovey Pottery Nursery Rhyme Cup & Saucer Set
With the saucer measuring 5-5/8" in diameter and the cup at 2-3/4" tall, this children's cup and saucer set features Little Bo Peep, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Horse to Banbury Cross rhyme.  The pieces have no chips or cracks.  However, there are some small spots of loss to the graphics and gold trim and some darker age spots.  There is also visible, all-over crazing to both pieces.  The glaze color looks a bit washed-out in some of the photos.  I think it appears most accurately in the photographs of the saucer alone.  Both pieces are marked as Bovey Pottery and Made in England.
