Product description
Close Call RF Capture Technology - you can set the scanner so it detects and provides information about nearby radio transmissions.
PC Programmable - lets you program your scanner using user PC.
Custom Search - lets you program up to 10 custom search ranges and search any or all of those ranges.
Quick Search - allows you to enter a frequency and start searching up or down from that frequency
Turbo Search - increases the search speed from 100 to 300 steps per second automatically for bands with 5 kHz steps
Search Lockouts - allows you to lock out up to 200 search frequencies (100 temporary and 100 permenant) in Custom, Service, Close Call, or Quick Search modes.
Lock-Out Function - lets you set your scanner to skip over specified channels or frequencies when scanning or searching. You must manually unlock these channels.
Temporary Lock-Out Function - lets you set your scanner to skip over specified channels or frequencies when scanning or searching. You must manually unlock these channels.
Priority Channels - You can program one channel in each bank as a priority channel (10 priority channels total). The scanner checks that channel every 2 seconds while it scans the bank so you do not miss transmissions on those channels. (Default=Priority Off)
Priority Scan - lets you set the Priority feature to check each channel every 2 seconds regardless of whether or not the scanner is receiving transmissions.
Priority Scan with Do Not Disturb - lets you set the Priority feature to check each channel every 2 seconds as long as the scanner is not receiving transmissions.
Duplicate Channel Alert - lets you know when you have entered a frequency that is already registered on another channel.
Channel Storage Banks - the scanner has 10 banks. You can store up to 50 frequencies into each bank (for a total of 500 frequencies), so you can more easily identify calls.
Two-Second Scan Delay - delays scanning for about 2 seconds before moving to another channel so you can hear more replies that are made on the same channel.
Do Not Disturb - prevents the scanner from interrupting transmissions during receiving.
Ten Service Bands - frequencies are preset in separate Weather, Police, Fire/Emergency, Marine, Racing, Civil Air, HAM Radio, Railroad, CB Radio, and Other (Other = FRS/ GMRS/MURS) bands to make it easy to locate specific types of calls
Key Lock - lets you lock the scanner’s keys to help prevent accidental changes to the scanner’s programming
Direct Access - lets you directly access any channel.
Two Level Display Backlight - Two brightness levels make the scanner easy to read in low-light situations.

Flexible Antenna with BNC Connector - provides adequate reception in strong signal areas and is designed to help prevent antenna breakage. You can also connect an external antenna for better reception.
Memory Backup - keeps the frequencies stored in memory for an extended time if the scanner loses power
Three Power Options - Use the supplied USB cable to charge the SR30C through your computer or other USB charging port. You can also power the scanner using two AA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (not included) or optional alkaline batteries.
Key Confirmation Tones - the scanner sounds a tone when you perform an operation correctly, and an error tone if you make an error.
Battery Low Alert - warns you when battery power gets low. The Battery Low icon flashes (BATT) and a battery low tone sounds every 15 seconds until the scanner is recharged, turned off, or drained completely.
Battery Save - works when there is no transmission for 1 minute in Scan Hold mode and in any Search Hold mode (does not work in Priority Scan and Close Call Scan modes). This feature turns off RF power for 1 second and turns it on in 300ms intervals to extend the battery live.
Scan/Search Delay/Resume - controls whether the scanner pauses at the end of the transmission to wait for a reply. You can set the Delay time for each Channel, Close Call Search, Custom Search, and Service Search mode.

Free shipping applies to orders shipped within the 48 Contiguous U.S. States. Most orders paid before 10:00AM (Pacific Standard Time) ship the same business day. Insurance and Tracking are included, and tracking info will be updated upon shipment.
Additional shipping fees are required for all other locations (including but not limited to):
PO Boxes, APO/FPO address, AK, HI, PR, Guam, Canada, and other countries outside the USA
We will make every attempt to process and ship orders within 2 business days of your cleared payment. We will contact you, should there be a problem or delay with your order. Please allow proper delivery time for your package to arrive.
Orders via UPS Ground arrive within 2-6 business days, depending on your distance from Southern California. Smaller or lighter weight items typically ship via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail.
International Buyers – Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
You may return merchandise to Life After Bass for a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.
Refunds
Refunds are available within 30 days of the original date of purchase. All refunds will have a 20% processing fee assessed. However, if you choose to exchange the item, and the returned item is still factory sealed, there will be NO processing fee assessed.
Exchanges
If you purchase an item and want to exchange it for a different product, we can do so if you contact us within 30 days of the original purchase date. If the returned item is still brand new and factory sealed, you will be issued a store credit for the full price of the item. If the item comes back to us in used or open box condition, there will be a 20% processing fee deducted from the issued store credit. When items are returned, and can no longer be sold as brand new, we must then sell them at a significantly lower price. For this reason, we must assess a 20% processing fee for open box returned items.
Defective Merchandise
We will replace a defective product with the same item within the 30 days of the original date of purchase. If you prefer to exchange your item for a different product, we will issue a store credit for the full price of the item, minus the outgoing shipping costs that were paid to ship the original item to you.
Refunds are also available during the initial 30 day period. Refunds are subject to a 20% processing fee. If you prefer that we simply replace the item, then there will be no fee charged.
If the product develops a problem past the first 30 days, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Damaged Merchandise
All packages are inspected for damage prior to leaving our warehouse. If your merchandise is damaged in transit by the shipping courier, please notify us immediately. Damaged merchandise must be replaced with the same model only. You may also return damaged merchandise for a refund; however, a 20% processing fee will apply. The processing fee will only apply if you choose to return the item for a refund. No fee will be assessed if we are able to resolve the issue by replacing your damaged merchandise.
Return Shipping
Return shipping cost (the cost to send merchandise back to our store) is comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.
We will cover all outgoing shipping costs incurred to ship the newly exchanged item to you. The return shipping costs required to ship the item back to our store, are always paid by the customer.
Returning Items
All returned merchandise must be in original condition, and must include the original factory box (UPC bar codes and serial numbers must be intact) and factory packaging (ie. foam, plastic, wrapping, etc.), accessories (ie. remote, bass knob, wires, etc.), and all instruction manuals. The RMA number or any other inscriptions must not be written or printed on the product box or packaging. We will not process the return if any of these conditions are not followed.
Return merchandise that is lost or damaged in transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important to save the tracking information and to properly ensure all merchandise is being safely returned to Life After Bass.
Return Exceptions
Although our return policy is quite flexible on most items, there are a few exceptions. The following are examples of items that can not be returned:
Items with physical damage unrelated to shipping. Physical damaged items are also not covered under warranty.
Kicker SoloX and Power Acoustik MOFO Subwoofers AND Replacement Cone Assembly (Re-cone) Kits can not be returned due to the nature of their use (SPL competition).
Blown subwoofers or speakers that have burned voice coils (or punctured holes) are not covered under warranty.
Software that has already been registered or installed cannot be returned.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.
