The original Uniden factory mount is strangely very difficult to find and has an odd diagonal mounting hole pattern with an overly-thick base. So we designed this mount to be used in multiple ways. There is an industry standard set of AMPS pattern mounting holes that will accept 3mm flat head screws. And there are 2 additional holes that match the US pegboard standard of 1-inch that will accept 4mm flat head screws. Any of these holes can be used for wall or panel mounting.
Your scanner snaps into place and is secure with the use of the built-in notches in the case. To remove, just press on the thumb release and pull out your scanner. This is ideal for use in multiple areas.
