Description
Uniden BC898T in beautiful condition, and spent most of it's life stored in the closet. This was the last scanner to have a "real" VFO knob. It's perfect base station for MIL-AIR military UHF aircraft monitoring, which many scanners don't receive. It also has CTCSS/PL on all channels. It can be front panel controlled and programmed or remotely programmed and controlled using Butel's ARC898T software and connecting to the RS232 serial port on the back to your computer.The

is a 500 channel (ten bank) scanner. Since the introduction of trunked systems, tracking a conversation on a conventional scanner was virtually impossible. Now with the Trunk-Tracker™ System you can search, lock-on and track a conversation-even if the channel changes between replies. Supported trunk systems include: Motorola Type I, Type II, Type IIi, Hybrid, SMARTNET™, and PRIVACYPLUS™, LTR trunking systems; EDACS trunking systems (including EDACS SCAT). There are 17 preprogrammed bands. Scan at 100 channels per second.
