Uniden factory belt clips are not very well designed, do not fit human bodies, and are overly complicated which leads to frequent failure. We wanted to completely redesign a clip that would fit both your waist, with a curved back, and modern tactical belts that are wider and thicker than normal belts. The result here is a clip that is smooth, will not catch on everything, is extremely strong (no moving parts, and no weak points - much stronger than OEM), and that lasts the life of your equipment instead of being disposable.
Your scanner slides into the long keyhole slot and can swing on the belt clip stud. It can be removed at any angle without the need to completely invert it to release. The slot has close tolerances so your scanner will not fall out accidentally.
