Happy Bird-Day kit for your feathered friend!
Rather if it's your birds B-day, wanting to redo the look of the cage, adding in a few more things, or you just got your new feather friend, this kit will give you a good start!
This kit will include:
~5 assorted Manzanita branches/perches ranging in size 9"-16" (including hardware)
~All branches will have hardware installed (screw, washer and wingnut) allowing you to easily attach to bird cage as soon as you get it.
~5 assorted Manzanita chips (slices) for your bird to peck at, allowing the perches to last longer. The size/shape and diameter will vary.
~All chips will have a hole drilled close to an edge.
~You will also get 1 custom bent, heavy duty wire, to hang chips in bird cage. Wire will be bent in away to allow ease when changing them out.
~Bonus- I will throw in a couple more manzanita items for free, what you get will depend on the space available, after all the main items are packed. Might be extra branch (s), chip (s), some sort of small bird toy and/or a fresh cut California Bay Laurel

Parrots can eat herbs, including coriander, dill, parsley, basil, star anise, oregano, peppermint, rosemary, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, dandelion leaf, thyme,
bay leaf
, St. John's Wort, cloves, lemongrass, and lavender. These herbs can be fed to parrots dried, fresh, and as teas.
Pictures provided are NOT the actual branches/chips you will receive. Your kit will be similar.
I will take custom orders if I'm able to find what your looking for. If you have a branch shape in mind, I might be able to find it. I own 14 acres of Chaparral terrain the Sierra Nevada. If you wanting something bigger, check out my other manzanita listings. I do offer larger, heavier pieces, that can be cut down how you'd like, or use as is.
These branches are very dense and heavy, depending on the size and thickness, they might have been cut with one (or more) of the following: chainsaw, miter saw, sawzall, branch cutters, wire cutters. Some signs of cutting one way or another will show on branches.
I purchase the hardware in bulk, and cut down the screw rod into multiples about 2" in length with a metal grinder. To add in hardware/drill holes a drill is used in a couple ways. Wire is repurposed heavy duty chain-link support wire, wire cutter and linemen are used to cut and shape.
Manzanita is the perfect wood for bird perches because makes a very foot healthy perch for your bird's feet. Manzanita grows in the Western U.S. This very hard wood is both difficult for birds to chew and it cleans easily. Manzanita lasts a long time making it an excellent choice for parrots.
Manzanita is used for bird care because it is singularly one of the toughest woods found on the planet. Even large Macaws and Cockatoos need time to tear up Manzanita perches. Why is Manzanita so great for parrot perches? Its natural bumps, turns and uneven surface is great for your bird’s feet.
Twisted branches
A Manzanita is known to have twisted branches. The beauty of it is that it varies from different sizes, length, and diameter. Your birds will not have to settle for one size. It is a good way to keep your bird’s feet in top shape.
They can practice their grip and will not lose touch of their grasp. Since the branches differ in size, they can jump from one branch to another and get a variety of experience.
Beak Maintenance
A Manzanita perch is a sturdy toy for birds. They can gnaw at it for long hours, but it will not budge. It is even helpful in trimming their beaks and sharpening its pointy end.

~I can not Mixed Media items with non Media items at Media mail rates. If you want me to combine Media items with non Media, I will still do so, but the shipping rates might be higher than expected.
~I sell a lot of Media items. Media Mail is very cheap, but very slow shipping time. (Usually up to 2 weeks) I use media mail to save you money. If you want faster shipping, and it is not an option on your invoice, message me BEFORE you pay, I will add one.
~S/H fees include a small percent to cover gas, packing supplies & tracking for your item. I do try to keep my fees as low as possible.
~ Books are packaged in a bubble mailer, a thin plastic mailer or box if order is larger than what mailer can hold. The shipping prices are according to their weight. If you want extra packaging that increases the weight of your item or cost of packing supplies beyond what I have listed, you will be charged that extra on your invoice.
~ All other items will be packed in what I feel is the cheapest and safest way to send them.
