Soft 'n Sheer Extra Stabilizer Permanent Iron On Backing Medium Weight Cut Away Bulk Pricing
Our packaged size stabilizers are great for trying out or for smaller projects. Sulky Soft ‘n Sheer Extra stabilizer is a fusible version of our Soft ‘n Sheer stabilizer. It is an acid free permanent, medium weight, textured, iron-on, non-woven nylon that is ideal for dense embroidery designs. Excellent stretch resistance eliminates pulling or sagging of the embroidery design during stitching and remains with fabric for continued stabilization through laundering and wearing. All Sulky stabilizers are acid and lead free!

    Helpful Hints
Because all Sulky Embroidery Stabilizers (except Tender Touch) are made from non-woven materials they don’t stretch in any direction.
On mid-weight knits, use one layer of Soft 'n Sheer Extra rather than two layers of the regular Soft 'n Sheer
It is perfect for delicate fabrics that don’t like high heat because you iron it onto the wrong side of your fabric with only a 260º iron. Use a low temperature and a press cloth.
Use Soft ‘n Sheer Extra as a backing for embellishing pillow tops and as an interfacing in garments that you want to remain cool and light. When you don't want fleece or batting in a quilted garment, this is the perfect alternative.
Some fabrics are so stretchy they can force themselves down the throat plate. A Sulky Cut-Away Stabilizer not only helps maintain the crispness of a design's detail, it also helps retain the design's shape after repeated washings.
By fusing the stabilizer onto the back of the garment, you will be more successful in hooping and you will not stretch your garment out of shape
