Looks great and works great. The rear panel still has the clear plastic protector on it. Outstanding sensitivity. The included AOR AA2001 AC adapter plugs into the unique 3 pin power jack. There is another jack on the rear panel that was added by the previous owner that looks like a standard power connector but we do not recommend its use as we did not test it.
The REGENCY MX7000 was made by AOR in Japan and is identical to their AR2002 model except for the front panel. Regency wanted a more dust resistant version that would be ideal for mobile use too so the front panel mini click buttons were replaced with a protective membrane. The VHF-UHF receiver covers from 25 to 550 MHz, and 800 to 1300 MHz in AM, FM-wide and FM-narrow modes. Twenty memories are available, each storing frequency and mode. The memories may be recalled or scanned. The complete coverage of the receiver can be scanned at 5, 12.5 or 25 kHz steps. The scan rate is 5 channels per second and the search rate is 1 MHz every 6 seconds. There is an attenuator switch on the rear panel.
