Description
An original one of a kind repurposed bowling pin sculpture. For awhile I was a pinsetter mechanic at a bowling alley. This little guy had a tuff life, every time he got up, life would knock him back down. One day he was damaged to the point he could no longer work at the bowling alley.I took him home and brought out his inner spirit. Bowling pins are made of maple so they are not easy to carve, their re-births are a labor of love.
This character got a recycled light fixture for a hat, it kind of gives him an outer space helmet look.
He can now be used to remind you of things you have to remember. From motivational thoughts to appointments, he is there to help you.
The welding rod with the clip on it can be removed or replaced with something else.
He is looking for a good home and we are now accepting adoption requests.
The Hydro-dip has a base coat and a clear coat, still I would be careful with it and not bang it around. Since it is wood, I would not leave it out in the hot sun, it might check.
I made a video about hydro-dipping this piece, it is on YouTube.

I started welding in a wood stove factory in 1976, and received my first metal sculpture commission also that year. Many people have collected my sculpture and I have work in the collections of Lake Oswego, Tigard, Portland, and Beavertons sister city, Gotemba Japan.
Don't miss your opportunity to own a very original one of a kind sculpture.
