    Description

    Description:
This is a trio that was made by Wileman, The Foley China, in England between 1902-1910.  Wileman is the predecessor of Shelley Fine Bone China.  The name Shelley began to be used in 1910 when Wileman could not obtain sole rights to the name "Foley China"  Like other Wileman pieces, the pattern number is written in gilt on the underside of the pieces.  These are all marked 9657.  I do not read this as 9654 because I have looked in a collectors guide for Wileman and the pattern 9657 is a Royal Shape, which this is and 9654 is listed as "Blue Fiber" pattern.  9657 is listed as "Dresden Flowers"
This footed cup, saucer and plate do not have chips, cracks or crazing.  There is a bit of wear on the gold gilt on the edges of the pieces.  It is certainly minimal considering the age of these items.  There are a few minor surface scratches that can be felt with a fingernail.  They appear to me to be from how the pieces were stored and they are minor.
The plate has a 7" diameter.  The saucer has a 5 5/8" diameter.  The cup is 2 1/4" in height and about 4 3/4" across.
These items will be well packed to assure your immediate enjoyment upon receipt.
Combined Shipping:  I am willing to combine items to try to reduce shipping costs.  I can
    only
do this if the items to combine have not yet been paid.  You will need to communicate via eBay messages to let me know that you are bidding on more than one item.  Once you win the additional item(s), I will send an invoice with shipping adjusted.  You will need to pay from that invoice.
If you are the winning bidder and are not satisfied with the item, you should contact me via eBay messages and tell me why you want to return it.  I will not give you grief, but I do want to understand if there is something that I simply did not see.  I want to have the opportunity to correct the problem if possible.
