Designed for the Metropolitan Opera Guild in the 90's, and likely offered for sale during one of their holiday performances of this children's classic opera by
nineteenth-century composer Engelbert Humperdinck.
The libretto was written by Humperdinck's sister,  Adelheid Wette, based on the Grimm brothers' fairy tale
"Hansel and Gretel".
