MFJ Model 259 HF/VHF Antenna Analyzer

Description

This is an MFJ model 259 antenna analyzer.  It has been tested and is in good working condition.  Photos show it connected to an antenna to show the meters are working.  I tested it against another analyzer and SWR meter.  This unit is in good working order and has good accuracy.

The MFJ-259 SWR Analyzer is an easy to operate, versatile test instrument for analyzing nearly any 50 ohm RF system on frequencies between 1.8 and 170MHx. In addition it can be used as a signal source and as an accurate frequency counter.  unit can be powered by two 9 volt batteries or a 12vdc wall power cube. The MFJ-259 combines four basic circuits; a wide range oscillator, a frequency counter, a 50 ohm RF bridge and a calibrated bridge unbalance indicator. This combination of circuits allows measurement of any load connected to the ANTENNA connector. The FREQUENCY switch selects the following frequency ranges:
1.8-4        MHz
4-10         MHz
10-26.2    MHz
26.2-62.5 MHz
62.5-113  MHz
113-170   MHz
It can be used to adjust or measure the following:
Antennas   SWR, resonant frequency, bandwidth and efficiency
Antenna Tuners:  SWR and frequency
Amplifiers: Input and output networks
Coaxial transmission lined: SWR, velocity factor, losses and resonance
Balanced transmission lined: Impedance, velocity factor and resonance
Matching or tuning stubs:  SWR, resonant frequency and bandwidth
Traps:  Resonant frequency
Tuned Circuits: Resonant frequency
RF chokes and inductors: Self resonance, series resonance and value
Transmitters and oscillators: Frequency

Please note:  I have been experiencing a sharp increase in non-paying bidders.   Once an auction ends, sellers have to pay auction fees based on the amount of the winning bid, REGARDLESS of whether or not the buyer follows through with payment.  When a buyer fails to pay for an item, the only recourse sellers have is to file a non-paying bidder complaint with ebay to have the auction fees paid by the seller refunded.   Ebay allows 4 days for a buyer to make payment arrangements before they allow sellers to open a non-paying bidder complaint.   If I do not receive payment or otherwise hear from a winning bidder within 4 days, a non-paying bidder complaint will automatically be opened by the EBAY automated seller assistant software.
Shipping Address Information:  I use the eBay seller assistant to print shipping labels.  It copies the address information listed on the buyers eBay/Paypal account.  It is the responsibility of the BUYER to ensure that the address listed on their account is current and correct.  I will not accept responsibility for a shipment being sent to the wrong address if the buyer provides an incorrect address on their eBay/Paypal account.  PLEASE update your account address before bidding and do not send notes, emails, etc expecting me to correct the address that is provided on your account.
