    Description

    This is a set of four back-cut glass buttons from the 1939-40 New York Worlds Fair.  They are 1/2" in diameter and say "N.Y. World's Fair 1939" around a carved out picture of the Trylon and Bathysphere symbols of the fair.  The buttons have no backs and I do not have any idea of their intended use. but they are very neat.  Paint which highlighted the carving is missing on three of them but they are all without chips or cracks.  Free U.S. s/h.
