Victorian
antique child's transfer graphic iconography porcelain, deep-walled ceramic bowl,
featuring gold gilded typography on the bowl's sill that says
'OUR BABY'S PLATE'
in high case letters. The bowl's fairly clean and doesn't suffer from any hairline cracks, ceramic loss, edge flea-bites, significant or appreciable image degradation. In its time, this would've been a prized possession, celebrating the birth of a couple's child and designating a special bowl or plate for him or her. It was most likely gifted to the proud young couple by friends or family members, commemorating the birth of their child. The porcelain's still bright, unblemished white and with no noticeable dark stains. The gold gilt line is also still largely intact, with only some slight to moderate loss of gilding along the lined top edge of the bowl. The transfer imagery shows children playing blindfolded
