IT ALLOWS YOU TO BLEED WITH WATER PRESSURE BOTH WAYS FROM ONE POINT BY CLOSING BALL VALVES ON FLANGES. YOU CAN ALSO FILL THE STOVE WITH THIS ATTACHMENT AS WELL. THERE IS NO BETTER SET UP TO SOLVE YOUR PUMP PROBLEMS THAN THIS FLANGE SET.  THESE ARE SAFE FOR POTABLE WATER AS WELL.
