    Description

~ VINTAGE HANGING HOOP PERCH  ~
This listing is for the hoop perch only,
the cage is not included in this listing
. I purchased this brand perch new in 1987 and my umbrella cockatoo used it for many years. He's very old now and doesn’t like to fly anymore so I put this into storage about 15 years ago. I shot these photos outside however this has never been used outdoors. Stainless steel tray. The hoop is not stainless, it’s chromed steel. No one manufactures these anymore so they are few and far between. Don't miss your chance to acquire one. Ships flat in two pieces.
    SIZE:
    22" diameter hoop
    24” diameter tray
    16" long perch
15" headroom/sitting area height for the bird
    28"
Overall height from tray to top of hook
designed for cockatoos, African greys, Amazons, smaller macaw species, etc.
    CONDITION: Tray has
minor scuffing, still has its shiny stainless steel finish. Chromed surface of the hoop has
some pitting, mostly on the hook (see close-up pic) The screw-on coop cups are plastic coated metal and have some wear. The exterior of one cup has a spot where the coating has peeled off (last photo) however, the interiors of the cups are not peeling and are very clean (FYI, they still manufacture these cups and you can easily buy replacements online) There is a tiny bit of rust where the tray bolt is welded to the bottom of the hoop (see close-up photo)
    PLEASE NOTE:
It might look like the tray isn’t level when you first assemble it so you will need to twist the tray around in a circle until you find the sweet spot where the washer allows the tray to rest level. (This is due to the angle the bolt was welded onto the bottom of the hoop, the bolt isn’t perfectly plumb) As you can see from the photos it does hang level, you just need to futz with it for a second or two.
