This perch with the bowl is perfect for parakeets, cockatiels, love birds, parrotlets, conure, finches, lines, small parrots, and other small birds. Snack-N-Perch has even been used for sugar gliders.
This is a solid pine wood feeder perch. This perch was made to keep the seeds inside the cage so your floor stays clean. And its removable stainless steel bowl makes this feeder perch so easy to use and clean. The bowl is dishwasher safe too! A great addition to any bird cage.
Please wash the stainless steel bowl before adding it to your cage. Also if you have a parrot that may get afraid of new items in its "home" place this perch by its cage for a few days slowly moving it closer to his/her cage. When they are out for play time let them explore it, try it on the outside of their cage with a favorite snack. This may help them trust it
The perches are custom-made with premium solid pine. The overall length is 10 inches. This is a measurement of the whole length including the 4-inch diameter stainless steel dish. The diameter of the perch section is 3/4 inch. Or shorter perch: 8 inches, 9 inches.
This perch comes complete and assembled with: one stainless steel bowl, one steel stud, two 1-1/4 inch stainless steel washers, and one stainless steel wingnut. (Will not rust!) . We recommend a 3/4 inch cage bar spacing or smaller.
