The exhaust temperature sensor
is located on the exhaust blower (combustion fan) housing.
This sensor is responsible for sensing sufficient temperature upon startup to continue stove operation and also allows the stove to shut OFF after cooling down.
The controls for your stove operate under very harsh conditions: exposure to extreme heat, vibration and power surges with high ampere draw.
Control- and safety switches become less reliable as time passes and
begin to operate erratically, causing mysterious shut-downs of a pellet stove. I
t is a good practice to
