I1/12/21 back in stock. This shipment the handles have been improved from previous versions - denser wood lightly stained - still rugged but have a better look and finish.
The military flail was a fearsome disabling weapon with its ability to reach out to a distance far exceeding the length of its shaft and with its iron weights traveling at lethal speeds. Used by foot soldiers and mounted knights.

This is bad-ass :) Battle ready, massive, brutal, looks like it's seen some hard fought campaigns and should be hanging over the hearth for defense against errant knights, looks like it's ready to sweep down on unsuspecting villagers and wreak carnage. Completely authentic looking weapon of destruction. Fully functional though not legal for steel fighting in many groups.

: I sold mine at DragonFest last year and when I replaced it I got a few extra. Originally these looked pretty rough, and I was going to sand and stain the handle and generally clean it up, but I ended up just oiling the whole thing (I used a dark furniture oil on the handle) and it looked great! Newest versions (the ones for sale here) are much improved. Overall well made plus an interesting and impressive weapon. Great conversation starter since you don't see many of these around.
