Using Steps:
1.Items needed for insemination:
Visual insemination gun (ensure enough electricity), expansion head, traditional insemination gun, tube for insemination needle, insemination needle (thawed), damp cloth, alcohol, several alcohol cotton and warm water.
2.Insemination Operation:
- Clean the visual insemination gun with alcohol and alcohol cotton, to ensure that it is entirely sterilized and the camera is clear.
- Wash and disinfect the vulva of the mother cow with warm water. Wipe clean with a damp cloth after cleaning to ensure no residue remains.
- Put the thawed insemination needle into the outer tube to get ready for use.
- Turn the gun on and ensure that its image is clear. Insert the insemination gun into the vulva of the mother cow with upwards angle and 5-10cm into the body. And then insert horizontally into the body until you see uterine.
- Keep the visual insemination gun stayed still, and insert the insemination needle with outer tube into the gun via the insemination needle channel. Make sure that the head of the needle reaches to the uterine by checking screen image.
- Rotate to insert the insemination needle into the cow's uterus by 10cm. It has reached to the bottom of the uterus. And then push the semen in the insemination needle to the uterus. (Attention: If it reaches too deeply into the uterus,
the semen might stay in the corner of the uterus, reducing conception rate.)
- After finishing insemination process, withdraw the insemination gun slowly. Press ON/OFF button to make it vibrated, promoting the contraction of the uterus and facilitating conception.
After the insemination gun is removed from the mother's vagina, wipe it off with a clean, damp cloth and disinfect with alcohol cotton. Finally, the gun is packaged and stored in a designated container.
