The Bearcat 101 features 16 reprogrammable channels, selectable from 6000 frequencies. No crystals are required. There is the basic five band coverage includes:  30-50, 146-148, 148-174, 450-470, 470-512 MHz plus the 416-450 MHz government band. Scan rate is 20 channels per second. Desired frequencies are programmed from the front panel (using 16 lever switches), using a code table in the manual. There is a built in telescopic whip antenna plus a Motorola antenna jack and RCA speaker jack on the rear panel. Requires 120 VAC [30W].
