All of the art work and collectibles being sold by Adams-Byrd Fine Art & Antiques have been collected and selected one at a time by the proprietor, an art historian with many years of training and experience in university art history departments, museums, galleries, and historic sites both in the U.S. and abroad.  The business has been based in the Washington, D.C. area for many years.  The art and collectibles that we are offering to eBay buyers are special and unique pieces that have been carefully “curated” by us.
This is one of the great patterns of Tiffany dishes for children.
This “Tiffany Toys” bowl can start or add to a collection.
The design inside the bowl features a yellow dog riding the rocking horse.
A teddy bear (with a red nose and a big red bow) sits at the left, and a large ball is at the right.
Four alphabet blocks are in the foreground.
The colors used on the white china / porcelain bowl are red/orange, yellow, blue, and tan/brown.
A thin red/orange band circles the outer edge of the flat rim.
The bowl is just over 6 ½” in diameter at the rim and just under 6” in diameter at the base.
Measured on the outside, it is about 1 ½” tall.
The cute design on the bottom features a soldier and a doll seated on a drum above:

The bowl is in very good pre-owned condition.
When examined closely there is no evidence of use (i.e. we could not find any scratches or marks from the use of a spoon, fork or knife).
Whether you are a TIFFANY fan or a collector of collectibles featuring bears, dogs or rocking horses, this is a beautiful and classic bowl.
Thinking outside of the box, this would make a great food or water bowl for a pampered dog (since a dog is at the center of the scene on top of the rocking horse).
PHOTOGRAPHY NOTE ----- We photographed the bowl under artificial light.  Flash was used in some of the photos.  There is "interference" in the photos from glare and reflections.  Also, during our photo session we realized there was a speck of dust/lint in the bowl to the right of the horse's head -- so, as you can see in the photos, the speck was just "temporary".  (The photos are not in the order in which we took them.)
All items we sell are from a pet free and smoke free environment – unless prior owner history is noted above.

Payment
: For auction items, payment is expected within 3 days of purchase.  After 4 days, an unpaid item case may be opened with eBay so that the item can be relisted or second chance offers may be made to other bidders.  We require immediate payment for Buy it Now items.
