This medium Bottlebrush Table-Top Play-Stand is designed for African Greys, Amazons, Small Cockatoos, and all similarly sized parrots. This is a perfect portable stand. There is plenty of wood for walking and playing, yet it is light enough to carry anywhere. We personally harvest, inspect, and clean the Bottlebrush branches. Why do we go to all this trouble? Because Bottlebrush is the ideal wood for all birds and parrots. Unlike most wood, Bottlebrush wood has two layers. The outer bark is soft, chewy, and easy to stand on. Your parrot’s feet were designed to naturally mesh with the bark of trees. Bottlebrush allows your parrots to move around effortlessly. Bottlebrush wood retains its natural bark which is exactly what birds crave! When other woods are too hard or too soft, Bottlebrush falls right in the middle making it perfect for your feathered companion. The dimensions of this Play-Stand are approximately 22x18x20. Because this is a unique handmade product, the height may vary a few inches. Birds absolutely love the rich, natural bark of the Bottlebrush on the outside, and you will love the durability of the hard center inside These Play-Stands are built on a base made by hand applying FORMICA (not melamine) to 3/4" plywood, then finished with an aluminum border with safely polished edges. All stands include 1 screw-in cup and have several screw-eyes installed at the end of the perches for toys. These easy to build Play-Gyms require minimal assembly effort. All Bottlebrush stands are made in the USA and are each uniquely built.
