Bernina Sewing Machine Manual 850, 840, 841, 842. Condition is used with some wear as seen in the photos.
This manual was hard to find.  When I first purchased it, I thought that maybe somebody had spilled oil on it.  But it’s not sticky, nor does it have any smell.  I now think that the first ten pages may have been printed on transparent paper as you can see both sides at the same time.  I don’t know for sure, but the other pages are completely normal. There is also a removable insert (for the 850 industrie) that is printed on the same type of paper which I included in the photos. It’s only printed on one side, so it is easier to read. I can still read the two sided pages (pages 1-10), but not as easily.
