This Scanner Works but has Sensitivity issues with local FM Radio Stations.
Will Receive NOAA weather and Local UHF police without the antenna but when
the antenna is added the radio gets overloaded ( FM Broadcast ) - Could be solved with attenuation or
Re calibrating the front end with a service Manual.
I was using this radio with a 125mhz Upconverter as Short Wave Receiver and works excellent
in that mode because the radio will do AM mode on all frequencies by selecting AM when Programing.
This Comes with 12 volt Wall Pack for operation and a 6 Volt Wall Pack to charge the internal
NiCd Pack!
Has New NiCd batteries (Portable Operation) and a New Memory Rechargable battery installed for keeping
the Frequencies when turned off .
This is Internally an AOR Scanner from Japan Rebranded as a Regency MX4000
So it sold as Parts Because of the Front End Issue which can be solved with some RF Skills.
