Antique Staffordshire Goodwins & Harris Child's Transferware Toy Pearlware Plate

Description

Offered for sale is a wonderful antique Staffordshire child's toy transferware plate with an image of a woman playing a harp with a dog at her side.  The plate is scalloped with painted embossed flowers and leaves around the rim.  The plate measures 7 1/4" in diameter and it is impressed with the manufacturer's name.
The overall condition of the plate is excellent.  There are no chips, cracks, or repaired areas and the white earthenware is very bright with no staining or crazing.  The transferware decoration is strong with no loss to the decoration and it would make a fabulous addition to any collection.
