This auction is for a very old, divided baby plate depicting scenes from the nursery rhyme This is the House that Jack Built. There is a cat with the words "This is the cat that killed the rat". There is a dog with the words, "This is the dog that killed the cat". And there is a rooster with the words, "This is the cock that crowed in the morn". The back of this piece is marked "Roma". The plate measures approximately 7 1/4" wide. It
is in very good condition for its age, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is crazing throughout this piece and there are some surface scratches due to normal wear. Please check out our other listings, as we will gladly combine shipping charges.
