Description
: Antique Child's Toy Tea Set. Marked “Vinetta”, which we assume is the pattern name. No other maker marks or country of origin. Decorated with hand colored transfer printed Watteau-style courting couples & raised gold gilt dots along with other gold trim. Made of clear glazed white earthenware.
Winner will receive 12 Pieces as follows:
-1 teapot with lid
-1 sugar with lid
-1 creamer
-4 cups
-3 saucers
Sizes
: the largest piece is the teapot at 5” tall. The cups are approximately 1.75” tall x 1.75” diameter rim. Saucers are 3.75” diameter.
Condition Report
: Used. Very good condition for its age, all pieces except one saucer are free of chips and cracks. One saucer has a tiny flea bite on rim. The gold gilding shows some rubbing loss. Typical glaze crazing on all pieces. Overall, a very nice nice toy set in a bright red/maroon color that displays excellently.
