AMAZING SET OF 19TH CENTURY ITALIAN MAJOLICA SNAKE HANDLED URNS - SERPENT

in beautiful Palm Beach, Florida!
For your consideration we are offering for sale on buy it now an amazing matched pair of 19th century Italian majolica snake handled urns.  They are unsigned which is not unusual for the period. The dark glaze on the body is a deep cobalt that approaches black.  You really need to rely on the photos for the description, they tell the story!  We think the medallions depict dragons.  Their condition is very good, we didn't see anything major to detract.  There are occasional fleabites as you would expect and some crazing.  The larger chip in the photos is under the clear glaze and happened during manufacture.  They are 10 inches tall and 5 across.  Very special examples.
