This Aluminum Travel Cage is a fantastic carrier for taking your parrot outside. Whether you need to go to the vet, groomer, travel to visit family, or just go out for a stroll, this travel cage will help you accomplish your parrot's travel needs in style and comfort.
The all aluminum construction means this cage is lightweight and does not rust. Yet, this cage is very easy to assemble. It does not require any tools. All of the sides slide into place and can come apart for compact storage.
This cage features 5/8" bar spacing making it suitable for any small to medium sized parrot or parakeet including Cockatiel, Conure, Senegal Parrot, Quaker, Ringneck, Caique, Pionus, Jardine's, Galah, Amazon, African Grey, and mini Macaws.
The aluminum pan slides out for easy cleaning. However, the tray is secured in place during transport. The carry handle also doubles as a perch for when you take your parrot out so that it can sit on top of the cage.
This travel cage comes with a comfortable NU Perch® to help your parrot maintain a grip while driving or carrying. The patented NU Perch® features a varied, bumpy, comfy texture to ensure a more relaxed travel experience for your companion parrot. It is very important that your parrot has a perch that it can grip while traveling since there aren't any seatbelts to hold the bird down in motion. However, it is good measure to put a seat belt through the carry handle when transporting your parrot in your car to ensure the cage does not move around.
Safety is built into this cage from the bottom up. The slide-in tray is secured with a rotating clasp to prevent it from slipping out during transit. The door is magnetically secured to reduce rattle while driving. The main cage door lock is a two stop lock to prevent accidental release or escape. Aluminum is a bird-safe and rust free metal. There is no paint or powder coat used on this cage. The color comes from anodized aluminum for safety and durability. The included NU Perch® helps keep the parrot comfortable and able to hold on while in motion.
