This is a replacement for my current air drill, one it's keyless making changing bits fast and easy, and like most air drill it's small making it great for metal/ auto work. Campbell Hausfeld is also a name you can depend on for a quality tool, build to last. No air tool is anything without a good compressor that has the required CFM for maximum performance. Here we need; 5.2 SCFM of air at 90 PSI for the power of 1,800 RPM where we get the best cutting power and performance for most drill bits. Dial down the pressure, for my compressor we can get 5.2 CFM at 40 PSI and bits for driving screws in decks works great, now this is my set-up, so one may not get these same results. You can also use the trigger to control the speed, but I found dialing down to presser and pulling the trigger fully each less fatiguing. SO there you have it, nice lite weight air drill that can be operated with one hand for forward or reversing level and simple twist of the keyless chuck and your done with bit changes.

I recently replaced my old air drill with the Campbell Hausfeld 3/8' air drill with keyless chuck. The unit is pretty heavy and well designed. The unit is reversible with a direction lever on the side that is very easy to see and the forward/reverse direction is indented into the metal so it will always be visible. The chuck adjusts easily and the plastic cover is easy to tighten and loosen. The unit has a pistol no slip grip made of a durable plastic and is easy to clean. The bottom of the handle has air vents so the exhaled air goes down away from the user. I recently used the drill to bore bolt holes through some 1/4' sheet steel and the unit impressed me with the speed and power of the drill. The drill is durable, dependable and the price is about 1/3 the cost of similar brands. I am very pleased with the overall quality of this drill.
