Copied and pasted from my local Craigslist ad:
Arguably one of the cleanest, non-abused 2016 Honda CBR600RR with the Black/White/Red "Shadow" livery in existence.
With the exception of different fairing liveries, this generation CBR600RR has gone completely unchanged from years 2013 to present.
I am truly unenthusiastic about listing it for sale but recent changes within our family is what has inspired it.
I never thought I would see the day, but here it is...
The pictures speak for themselves. But what they can't tell you, I can.
I bought this bike in 2017 with 200 miles on it from the original owner who, shortly after, was involved in a car accident that prevented them from being able to physically ride it. It was a true find and I planned on keeping it forever. Hence the obsession that I put into it.
Since then, I spent more time admiring it in my garage where it spent most of the time on two bike stands (prevents tire flat spots) only to be started, ridden periodically, taken up to freeway speeds for jaunts around town, back to the garage, back on the bike stands, back on the battery tender, then wiped down.
I added 1000 miles over the course of 7 years.
I know there are faster motorcycles out there, but I have nothing but respect for this machine.
That aside, the performance of this bike is completely stock short of a BMC air filter. It has a stock exhaust and no tune.
I performed a full synthetic oil + filter change at 400 miles which is when Honda recommends the break-in oil be changed. I used Motul 7100.
The chain has always been kept clean, free of debris and oiled consistently while stored and before each ride.
I kept all of the factory original parts which will be included with the sale and I also added a number of different cosmetic upgrades to this bike which I will list here. Everything was installed by me personally.
    - OEM Honda Bike Cover (Black).
    - 2016 Honda CBR600RR Factory Service Manual (PDF File).

Needless to say, I know every detail about this bike.
Despite being virtually identical to my 2016, brand new, CBR600RR's with the less desirable (though more expensive), ABS feature, retail for ,200 before taxes. After California sales tax, you're spending about ,400 not counting dealer delivery fees.
I am listing this for ,500, which, when you consider everything that comes with it, is easily worth that.
If you are serious about buying it, you can call, text or email me.
Its natural to want a test ride when buying a motorcycle and I am okay with that as that is perfectly reasonable.
Please understand that test rides will be given to cash-in-hand buyers ONLY.
Meaning, if you want to function test this bike, cycle the gears, etc, I will be holding ,500 of your cash in my hand while you do so.
If you lay it down or crash the bike while testing it, you bought it.
I don't mean to sound like a grump, but I think anyone selling a motorcycle would feel this way.
    Thank you for reading.
I'll delete the ad once it has sold.
