1939 World Fair Trylon Perisphere Building English Art Pottery Lamp Base England

Description

Here is a hard to find Art pottery lamp base in the form of the Trylon and Perisphere at the 1939 Worlds Fair.   It measures approx. 5.75" by 4.75" and about 8" high.  The bottom is impressed No. 102 ~MADE IN~ ENGLAND.  The ivory/eggshell color glaze has a uniform crazing effect and there is applied gold color accents.  Overall very good vintage condition, but there has been a repair to the top of the Trylon...I have provided a close up, but it does blend in with the crazing.
