TIRO FEDERALE IN LUGANO inscribed on banner above two rifles and two banners in saltire behind the coat-of-arms of Lugano surmounted by a plumed hat, all within half wreath; view of the city across the Lago di Lugano in background / LIBERTADE INERME E DE’ TIRANNI AGEVOL PREDA, Helvetia, holding sword and coat-of-arms, and river god, holding rudder, both seated on mountain, from which a train emerges from the Gotthard tunnel; E. DURUSSEL in small lettering to right above denomination in exergue.
